Sports Against Cancer is an organization dedicated to raising funds to find a cure. With positive energy and commitment to the cause, we aim to turn the spirit of athletics into a victory for life.
The organization was founded in 2007 by three sports veterans affected by the cause: Bill Fitch and Bob Hill, former NBA coaches; and Sid Rodeheffer, NCAA referee. For more information about the organization, go here.
Sports Against Cancer’s primary fundraising event is an annual golf outing featuring sports celebrities and generous non-celebrity patrons. The tournament is competitive, but it’s about much more than golf - all funds raised go directly to cancer research. To find out more about this year’s event, go here.
